Ideal for animals of any age, at any time in the breeding season. Delays fluke egg laying by up to 10 weeks

Acute Outbreaks

The flock should be treated immediately after your veterinarian has reached a diagnosis.

Routine Treatment - Moderate Risk Fluke Areas

• Consult your prescriber for dosing guidelines to reflect your farms local conditions and the current fluke risk
• As a guide dose all animals exposed to fluke infected pastures at regular intervals from September to January/February to minimise liver damage and maximise productivity.
• An additional spring treatment will help reduce the amount of new infection on pasture in the following autumn.

Routine Treatment - High Risk Fluke Areas

• Consult your prescriber for dosing guidelines to reflect your farms local conditions and the current fluke risk
• Dose all animals grazing the pasture to minimise pasture contamination from fluke eggs and reduce fluke infection.

Bought-in Stock

• Dose before joining the main flock, to prevent buying in a fluke problem.

Administration

Fasinex 5% is given as an oral drench and is suitable for use through most types of automatic drenching guns. 

Before dosing weigh your stock, split them into groups of similar  weights, and dose to the heaviest in that group.

Dosage

For sheep: 1ml Fasinex 5% per 5kg bodyweight
